Honoring Nurses Immanuel MTC HoustonDate : 17-10-2019

Immanuel Marthoma Church which is celebrating its Silver jubilee this year honored the nurses whose handwork and sacrifice has an integral part in the growth of this church. IMTC Sevika Sanghom took initiative and organized Nurses Appreciation Day during the Nurses week. The function was held immediately after the Holy Qurbana service on May 19. Sevika Sanghom secretary Mrs. Mereena Mathew welcomed the gathering.  Rev. Abraham Varghese, Vicar of Immanuel Marthoma church presided over the function, and Very. Rev. Dr. Cherian Thomas inaugurated the function. Three senior most nurses lighted the Lamp and all the nurses did a rededication prayer led by Mrs. Mariamma Ommen. Mrs. Ani Joji and Mrs. Betsy Varghese did felicitations. Ms. Liji Mathews sang a melodious song. The high light of the program was honoring the senior nurses by the younger nurses by giving them ponnada. It was a very proud moment for the nurses and the organizers.
